Undercarriage Background

As a supplier, Mine One partners with manufacturers and engineering based companies who are able to offer innovative, quality products and services that will deliver significantly reduced mining costs, to end users.

This innovative work began in 2000 when one of our group members designed, built and later refined the greased load roller for the O&K RH200. With input from metallurgists, engineers and end users we also began rebuilding sprockets and manufacturing tracks. After more than 100,000 hours of use in the field these products have been refined and now offer end users significantly reduced operating costs. For example our single piece drop forged, grease lubricated rollers never break and can be economically rebuilt.

Our sprocket rebuilds which are carried out in Queensland use a very simple cost effective method to fit 12 new pegs and build up the rolling diameter of the sprocket, thereby reducing the wear on both the sprocket drive and pad drive faces. The benefit of this is extended sprocket and track life and it also enables the tracks to be economically rebuilt. Our recommendation is to rebuild all sprockets to the 12 peg design.

Our tracks are manufactured in China. The pad is a cast chrome nickel molly, with induction hardened roller path and hardened steel pins and bushes. Once again the integrity of the pads allows them to be rebuilt time and again.

All these undercarriage products now have hundreds of thousands of operating hours in the most arduous mining applications. We can certainly provide end user references which will provide you with the confidence required to use our products and gain the benefits of reduced operating costs.
